We had a day off yesterday and teammate Tim Bowman was going home to see his dad in Timaru before he went to Auckland for a while and he asked if I wanted to come! I of course said yes and so we went for a road trip up to the east coast, picking fellow teammate Willis up from the tiny town of Twizel on the way. I was hoping to find penguins Timaru but they’d been scared off by someone else already. Not that I really fancied climbing about the rocks to get close enough for a photo with one anyway haha!! Timaru is a pretty small place but the beach is real nice and we made our own fun. I’ve just about mastered the front flip now on Tim’s trampoline as well haha!!
